Elmer Mack and His Recollections of World War II


​Elmer "Mack" Mack, age 103, a resident of Cypress Creek, moved to Isle of Wight County after a career at the Pentagon and at Langley Air Force Base. He was drafted in 1943 and assigned to the Army Signal Corps at Fort Crowder, Neosho, Missouri, for his typing ability.
